Mandi Bahauddin (MBDN News 03 September 2021) Deputy Commissioner Tariq Ali Basra and Member National Assembly Haji Imtiaz Ahmed inaugurated Rescue 1122 Mobile Ambulance Motorcycle Service to provide immediate emergency services to the people. The Bicycle Mobile service will provide citizens with free medical treatment and rescue services at their doorsteps. Initially, the service will be available in the city and its environs. Later, its scope will be expanded as per government directives.
These views were expressed by Deputy Commissioner Mandi Bahauddin Tariq Ali Basra and Member National Assembly Haji Imtiaz Ahmed while addressing the inaugural function of handing over the keys of Emergency Mobile Motorcycle Service at Rescue 1122 Office here today. District Emergency Officer Engineer Imran Khan, Station Coordinator Sohail Khan, Media Coordinator Atif Rafique, rescue staff and others were also present on the occasion.
District Emergency Officer Imran Khan gave a detailed briefing to the Deputy Commissioner and Member National Assembly on the performance of Rescue 1122 and the use of medical and other equipment used in emergency situations. The District Emergency Officer inspected the control room with the Deputy Commissioner and Member National Assembly and also made some requests for the improvement of the office. Which he assured to resolve soon.
The District Emergency Officer said that in the initial phase, the service of 10 emergency mobile motorcycles is being provided for which emergency rescue personnel have been deployed. This service will be provided by the Punjab government to the citizens at their doorsteps. To provide maximum timely protection to the lives and property of the citizens.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner and Member National Assembly said that the government is putting the people on modern lines to ensure the safety of their lives and property in case of any emergency and all the steps are being taken for this. Citizens will be able to get rescue, medical treatment and other facilities. Later, the Deputy Commissioner and Member National Assembly formally started the service by distributing the keys of the emergency mobile motorcycle to the expert rescue personnel.
