Malikwal (Correspondent) The process of registration of deserving students under the Waseela Education Program is underway. A stipend of Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 4,000 will be given.
Mandi Bahauddin: The process of registration of students is underway in the fourth phase of Waseela Education Program under Ehsas Division in Malikwal in which students from nursery to intermediate are being registered. Assistant Director Benazir Income Support Program Malikwal Zahid Iqbal Khokhar said that under the Ehsas program, children going to school and college of deserving women can benefit from the Waseela Education Program.
Rs. 1,500 / – for primary level students, Rs. 2,000 / – for female students, Rs. 2,500 / – for secondary level students, Rs. 3,000 / – for female students, Rs. 3,500 / – for higher secondary students and Rs. 4,000 / – for female students on quarterly basis will be given. He added that the government’s initiative is aimed at helping deserving families whose children are deprived of education due to lack of funds for education. So far, more than 4,000 students from across the tehsil have registered under the program. Citizens have appreciated this government initiative
